"Cancellation worked, but the process could be clearer"
I was able to cancel my membership in the end, but it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. In my case, I had to call first and then follow up with an email, so there was a little more back and forth than I expected.
The staff were polite once they got back to me, and the cancellation did get taken care of after a few days. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience overall, but if you’re trying to cancel quickly, the steps on the website could definitely be clearer so you’re not left guessing what to do next.

"Rough start and not much help"
well... I signed up expecting a little guidance, but the onboarding was confusing. I ended up asking the same basic questions more than once, and the replies I got felt kind of rushed, like they were just trying to move on.
Maybe the workouts get better once you’re settled in, but the beginning made me feel like I was figuring everything out alone. It just wasn’t a great first impression for me

"Not really worth paying for the membership"
I just didn’t feel like it was worth the price, it’s expensive for what you get and I kept trying to convince myself the membership would pay off but it really didn’t, so I wouldn’t sign up again.

"Pretty easy to get to"
The location works well for me since it’s not too far from home, who doesn’t appreciate a quick trip? The only thing is parking can be a bit frustrating sometimes, which kind of takes away from the convenience. So overall, it’s fine, not amazing, not bad, just okay

Overall I like this gym, it’s a solid place to work out. The only thing is when I go after work, a lot of the machines I want are already taken, which gets a little frustrating. I just wish they had a few more of the popular machines because sometimes you’re kind of standing around waiting and..

"Parking was impossible, and the reminders were too much"
I couldn’t find parking anywhere, and it made the whole experience frustrating. On top of that, the reminders felt way too aggressive, like I was being constantly pushed even though I already knew what I needed to do.

I couldn’t really find clear pricing on the site, I ended up feeling like I had to ask around just to get a basic idea of the costs. That’s frustrating because I’d rather know upfront before spending time digging for it.

"Music was a bit too loud"
The music was loud during my visit, to the point where it was kind of hard to focus or hear people around me. I’m fairly sure that’s what gave me a headache by the time I left, and it made the workout less enjoyable overall. I get that gyms can be noisy, but it would be nice if they kept the volume a little lower.

"Helpful for basic nutrition guidance, but I wanted more detail"
I tried the nutrition coaching at Signature Fitness NJ for a few weeks, and overall it did help me pay closer attention to what I was eating day to day. If you’re someone in the area who just needs a little accountability or a starting point, it can be useful.
The coach was friendly and always willing to answer my questions, which I appreciated. That said, some of the advice felt a little broad, and I was hoping for more specific meal ideas or examples I could actually plug into my routine.
I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just not as personalized as I expected. My advice would be to go in knowing what you want help with and ask for specifics, especially if you’re looking for more than general nutrition tips.

"Not really worth it for the price"
This just wasn’t a great fit for me. I kept hoping it would feel more useful, but in the end it didn’t really seem worth the time or the money. If it had been cheaper, maybe I’d feel differently, but at the price I paid, I wouldn’t really recommend it

"It helped, even if I didn’t love it every week"
I’ll admit, it did help keep me accountable, which I needed. Some weeks I wasn’t exactly excited to show up, especially when the sessions started feeling a little repetitive, but overall I can’t say it wasn’t useful. The motivation dipped after a while, but it still gave me enough structure to stick with things better than I probably would have on my own.

"Trainer didn’t seem very knowledgeable"
I didn’t really feel like the trainer knew how to adjust things based on what I needed. A lot of the advice felt general, like basic gym tips I could’ve heard anywhere.
When I asked questions, some of the answers were kind of vague, and I didn’t leave feeling like there was a clear plan or much actual coaching going on.
Maybe it’s a better fit for other people, but for the price, I expected someone who seemed more experienced and confident in what they were doing.

The gym itself is nice enough, which I guess explains why half the city seems to be there every time I go. It was just way too crowded, and I spent more time waiting for machines than actually working out. Hard to get into any kind of routine, so I usually left more annoyed than accomplished

"I wish the class schedule worked better for me"
I do enjoy the classes when I’m actually able to get into them, but the schedule doesn’t always fit my life very well. The evening spots I want seem to fill up quickly, and the weekend options aren’t always convenient for me. I still like the gym overall, I just wish booking classes felt a little easier and more flexible for my schedule

I reached out to them a few times, and the replies just took way too long. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, but my gut feeling was that customer service isn’t really on top of things. They definitely need to be quicker and more responsive.

I signed up because I was hoping for some real help staying on track with my fitness goals, especially since I was being careful about what I was spending. But it felt hands-off. I kept asking for a clear plan or some way to tell if I was actually making progress, and most of what I got back was just basic comments.
Maybe it works better for people who already know what they’re doing, but I didn’t feel very supported. For the price, I expected a little more guidance, and I ended up feeling like I was mostly figuring it out on my own

I really wanted to like this gym, but the class selection was a letdown. It felt like the same few classes kept repeating, and the schedule wasn’t super convenient either. Just a heads up if you’re someone who needs variety to stay motivated, this probably isn’t the place for you. I got bored way quicker than I expected

Overall, I feel safe here and I haven’t run into any major problems. The staff is usually around, which helps, but does anyone else feel like the entry area is a little too open sometimes? I also think the lockers could use a bit more attention. It’s not bad by any means, but I just feel like the security could be tightened up a little
